I'm going to have to disagree as well. The fact that a portion of Live/Dead comes from January '69 immediately disqualifies it from being the 'worst' month. Try April or November.....

I think November has to be ruled out as a possible "worst month" solely on the basis of 73. You could make a good case that November of 1973 was actually the single greatest month in the band's history, with at least 3 shows that rank among the all-time greats.

Plus November 79 is outstanding as well. Energy is through the roof and playing is inspired. Not too many duds, if any, during this run. From the East Coast to West Coast and then the Mid West, many, many epic shows.
